AET hired Bruce Boehm Carlson, to expand their environmental project management capabilities. Mr. Boehm Carlson brings the environmental department over 15 years of experience as an asbestos, lead and indoor air quality professional.
In December, American Engineering Testing, Inc., a leading engineering, testing, & consulting firm in the Upper Midwest, hired Bruce Boehm Carlson, to expand their environmental project management capabilities. Mr. Boehm Carlson brings the environmental department over 15 years of experience as an asbestos, lead and indoor air quality professional, most recently with Vieau Associates Inc.
Mr. Boehm Carlson earned his Bachelor of Arts in geology from the University of Minnesota – Morris. Since then he has experienced most aspects of commercial, residential and industrial environmental renovation and demolition, working with many state and federal regulatory programs. He has devoted his career to managing asbestos, lead and indoor air quality projects and environmental due diligence. “Bruce will bring added value to our brownfield, due diligence, and plant management experience” said AET Environmental Engineering Manager, Kate Kleiter, PG.
Since joining AET, he has been hard at work in his new role as asbestos projects manager. In this capacity, Mr. Boehm Carlson works alongside department managers to expand AET’s regional asbestos, lead and indoor air quality capabilities. He is pursuing his Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) certification.
Born in Colorado and raised in Minnesota, Mr. Boehm Carlson lives in Minneapolis with his wife, Christina, of 12 years. They have one son, Theodore (Theo) and one daughter, Catherine (Kate). Theo is in second grade and Kate is in kindergarten. He is also the Senior Warden at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church where he is coordinating many renovation projects such as roof replacement, water intrusion mitigation and repair, painting and cellular phone tower installation.
