ST. PAUL, MN – December 13, 2018 – Dan Vruno, PE, from American Engineering Testing, Inc. received the Annual Outstanding Service Award for his contributions to the concrete industry on December 6, at the University of Minnesota’s Annual Conference in Brooklyn Center, MN.

The conference brings together concrete industry professionals from around the state to network and knowledge share. The first conference was held in 1951, and the annual award program started in 1974. Vruno has been an active member in the organization since 1980 and has served on the planning committee since 2000.

“During his 35+ years in the industry, Dan has served as teacher, trainer, speaker, mentor and advocate for the concrete industry,” said Dan Larson, CEO of American Engineering Testing, Inc.  “He has studied and solved many complex concrete challenges nationally and internationally. We are proud of the work he has done to support and advance the concrete industry.”
