We are pleased to welcome Zachary “Zac” Anunson back to Team AET as our Director of Field Services, MN!
Zac rejoined our company in January after spending four years at Ames Construction as their Regional Quality Manager for the Midwest and Southeast Regions. Prior to his time at Ames, Zac was with AET for over ten years. He began his tenure at AET as a technician, testing and inspecting earthwork and concrete-related items, before transitioning to managing our aggregate lab. Zac later served as a Quality Manager on design-build projects and as a project manager for transportation jobs. He holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Minnesota.
Zac’s leadership, management, and technical skills, honed through his extensive project experience in both field and lab settings, will be invaluable in his new role. These skills will enable him to effectively tackle any challenges that arise now and in the future. He believes that gaining diverse experiences and building strong relationships are the best way to tackle problems and develop new solutions and ideas.
In his role at AET, Zac will support our field services teams by creating a cohesive team environment, driving continuous improvements and innovations, streamlining resource sharing, and enhancing training and education programs. Zac’s team will consist of the Building & Construction Field Services Group, the Renewables Group, and two of our MN offices: Albertville and Duluth.
Although Zac has not had much spare time recently, he enjoys spending time with his soon-to-be five-month-old son, Henry, as well as his friends and family. When he finds the opportunity, he likes to go hunting or shooting and attend sporting events such as football, baseball, and hockey.
